Gareth O. has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Gareth began their career as a Software Engineer at Microsoft in 2001, followed by a role as a Senior Software Engineer at Lionbridge from 2002 to 2007. Subsequently, they joined Watchfire Corporation as an Application Security Pre Sales Engineer EMEA in 2007. In 2008, Gareth joined IBM, where they held various positions, including Application Security - Technical Pre Sales EMEA and Worldwide Technical Sales Team - Application Security Lead EMEA. Gareth then moved on to WhiteHat Security, where they served as the Director of Solutions Architecture EMEA and later, the Sr. Director Solutions Architecture EMEA. In 2017, Gareth became a Security Research Consultant at Genomics Medicine Ireland and a Cyber Security Advisor at TechIreland. Gareth also became a Partner at Progress Ireland, offering cyber security solutions and services channel. In 2019, Gareth became the CEO of Empiric Logic. Gareth'smost recent role is with Bugcrowd as part of the Trust & Security Strategic Accounts team.

Gareth O. completed their Bachelor of Science (BSc Hons) degree in Information Systems from Trinity College Dublin, from the year 2003 to 2007.
