Michael S.

Michael S. has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Michael is currently working at Bugcrowd, where they have held various roles since 2019. These include Vice President of Security Operations and Researcher Success, Senior Director of Security Operations & Researcher Success, Senior Director of Security Operations, Global Head of Security Operations and Researcher Enablement, and Head of Researcher Enablement.

In addition to their role at Bugcrowd, Michael S. is also involved with SecTalks as a Gold Coast Co-Organizer since 2021. SecTalks is a non-profit security community that hosts monthly sessions on technical security topics.

Prior to their positions at Bugcrowd and SecTalks, Michael S. worked at NCC Group as a Senior Security Consultant and Security Consultant specializing in penetration testing from 2017 to 2019.

Michael also has experience with Cancer Council Queensland as a Solution Architect with a focus on Cloud and Security, and as an Information Management Specialist from 2013 to 2017.

Before that, Michael S. worked as a Lead Information Management Analyst at LINC ENERGY LTD on a contract basis in 2013.

Their career started at QIC in 2010, where they served as a Senior Developer in the Financial Services sector and as a Software Developer/Technical Business Analyst from 2010 to 2013.

Michael S. began their education in 2015 when they enrolled at the University of Southern Queensland. In that year, they pursued a Graduate Certificate of Business with a specialization in Digital Transformation, which they completed in 2016. Continuing their education at the same institution, Michael then pursued a Duel Master's Degree in Business Administration (MBA) and Project Management (MPJM) with a specialization in Digital Transformation. Michael completed this program in 2019. Throughout their education, Michael S. focused on developing a strong foundation in the field of Digital Transformation.
