Towfik Islam

Towfik Islam has worked as a Security Researcher at HackerOne since February 2021. Prior to that, they were a Security Researcher at Bugcrowd starting in March 2021. Before transitioning into research, Towfik worked as a Cyber Security Specialist from October 2016 to May 2017.

Towfik Islam started their education at Dariapur High School in 2015 and completed their Secondary School Certificate (SSC) in 2017. Towfik then enrolled at Darpon Polytechnic Institute in 2017 and obtained a Diploma in Textile Engineering in 2021.

Currently, Towfik is pursuing a BSc in Computer Science & Engineering at Uttara University, starting in 2023.

In terms of certifications, Towfik has completed several courses. In 2021, they obtained the National Cyber Drill 2021 Certificate from BGD e-GOV CIRT. In 2022, they earned the VishwaCTF22 certificate from CyberCell VIIT. More recently, in 2023, Towfik completed the Official CC Course Completion Certificate from (ISC)², the Ethical Hacking Essentials (EHE) from CodeRed, and the Blue Team Junior Analyst Certificate from Security Blue Team.
