Umar Muzammil

Umar Muzammil has a work experience starting from 2021 till present. Umar initially worked as a NOC Analyst at Inbay from February 2021 to July 2022. Then, they transitioned to the position of Senior Service Desk Engineer at Inbay from August 2022 onwards. In addition, Umar joined Zettabytes Gold Microsoft Partner in August 2022 as a Service Desk Engineer. Furthermore, they have upcoming roles as a Security Researcher at HackerOne and Bugcrowd starting in March 2023.

Umar Muzammil's education history begins in 2005 when they attended Hameed Al Husseinie College - Colombo and completed their Ordinary Level Examination. From 2016 to 2018, they pursued an Advance Level Examination in the Biology Stream at ST. John's College.

In 2019, Umar obtained the Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) certification from WinSYS Networks (pvt) Ltd. In 2020, they completed the Cisco Certified Network Associate Routing and Switching (CCNA) certification from the same institution. Also in 2020, Umar enrolled at Pearson College London and obtained a Diploma in Information Technology. Umar also earned a Diploma in English Language and Literature/Letters from Pearson College London during the same period.

In 2021, Umar pursued a Higher National Diploma in Cyber Security from Qualifi Ltd. Umar continued their education in the field of Cyber Security at the University of Greenwich from 2022 to 2023, where they completed a BSc (Hons) degree.

In terms of additional certifications, Umar obtained various qualifications. These include the Introduction to Cybersecurity certification from Cisco in 2020, the Oracle Certified Cloud Infrastructure Foundations Associate certification from Oracle in 2021, and the NSE 1 Network Security Associate and NSE 2 Network Security Associate certifications from Fortinet in 2022. In 2022, they also earned the Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900) certification from Microsoft. Furthermore, Umar obtained the Microsoft Certified: Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals (SC-900) certification from Microsoft in 2022, and the Microsoft Certified: Security Operations Analyst Associate (SC-200) certification from the same institution in 2023. Additionally, they completed the Phishing Staff Awareness Course from GRC eLearning in 2023.
