Vikas Upadhyay

Vikas Upadhyay has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles in the field of security. Vikas started their career as a Security Analyst Trainee at VulConnect Innovation Labs in March 2019, where they worked until May 2019. Vikas then moved on to work as a Security Analyst at DEFENCELY CLOUD SECURITY PRIVATE LIMITED from January 2018 to August 2019. Following that, they took on the role of a Security Consultant at a confidential company from August 2019 to January 2021. In 2018, they joined Bugcrowd as a Security Researcher and is currently working there. Additionally, they are also serving as a Security Researcher at Synack Red Team since January 2021. Vikas Upadhyay has also worked as an Associate at BDO in India starting from July 2021, with an expected end date in January 2023.

Vikas Upadhyay completed their Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science at the Meerut Institute of Engineering and Technology (MIET) from 2015 to 2019. In addition to their formal education, they have obtained several certifications in the field of cybersecurity. These certifications include: Certified AppSec Practitioner (CAP) from The SecOps Group in February 2023, Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) from EC-Council in November 2022, ICSI | Certified Network Security Specialist (CNSS) from ICSI (International CyberSecurity Institute), UK in August 2020, The Ethical Hacking Nmap Course from Udemy: Online Courses in June 2020, Hunter 2.0 from HackersEra Cyber Security Consultancy and Training Pvt Ltd in March 2020, and Finalist in Amrita InCTF from AMRITA VISHWA VIDYAPEETHAM in December 2018.
