James Coleman

James Coleman has worked in the web development industry since 2010. James began their career as a Web Developer at Grow Media in 2010. James then worked as a Front End Web Developer at Squiz in 2012. In the same year, they joined Lonely Planet as a User Interface Developer, where they created websites and social media applications for clients. In 2014, they worked as a Developer at BugHerd and also served as a Lead Instructor at General Assembly, teaching a 10 week front end development course and one-off classes. In 2016, they joined Elevio as a Senior Developer, introducing and maintaining a modern frontend. In 2018, they joined Macropod Software Pty Ltd as a Senior Developer, leading the team day-to-day with the goals of modernising the codebase and increasing MRR. James is currently employed as a Senior Software Engineer at Exci and a Technical Lead at BugHerd.

James Coleman attended Queensland University of Technology from 2009 to 2011, where they earned a degree in Animation with a focus in Digital Media.
