Richard O'Brien

Richard O'Brien has a wealth of experience in product, UX, and digital roles. Richard began their career in 2005 as a Senior Project Manager/Tech Lead at Mercury e-recruit. Richard then moved to OgilvyOne in 2008, where they served as a Senior Digital Producer and Senior Front-End Web Developer. In 2010, they co-founded the Ogilvy Idea Shop. In 2011, they worked as a User Experience Consultant at both Seven Squared and MRM London. In 2012, they took on the role of Senior User Experience Consultant at HeathWallace, where they worked on ANZ Commercial & Retail banking platforms, the Australia Post Digital Mailbox, and more. In 2014, they became a Lead UXer at Oxygen Ventures Australia. From 2015-2018, they served as Head of Product at ECAL.com, and they currently hold the same position at BugHerd.com.

Richard O'Brien obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science in Computer Science & Software Engineering from Swinburne University of Technology between 2001 and 2005.
