Federico Pio

Federico PIO is a seasoned European and Italian Patent Attorney with extensive experience in intellectual property law. Currently serving at BUGNION SpA since October 2021, Federico previously held positions as an IP Counsel at Botti & Ferrari S.r.l. and Micron Semiconductor Italy, where responsibilities included managing IP portfolios and advising on protection strategies. Earlier roles at Numonyx Italy Srl and STMicroelectronics involved significant IP support and management of complex portfolios. Federico has also contributed to academia as a contracted professor at the University of Milan, teaching courses on the Physics of Electronic Devices. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Physics from the University of Milan and certification as a European Patent Attorney.
