Andreas Knechtle

Andreas Knechtle is a Projektmanager R&D at Bühler Group since February 2011, specializing in die casting and managing projects related to lifecycle management and new developments, including significant responsibilities in projects such as Snake and Fusion. Prior to this, Andreas held the position of Entwicklungsingenieur Konstruktion at Oerlikon Saurer Arbon Ltd from January 2007 to January 2011, focusing on the mechanics of large embroidery machines. Early career experience includes multiple roles as a CAD specialist at Rieter between 2002 and 2005, where responsibilities included creating CAD manuals and providing user support. Andreas holds a degree in Mechatronics from ZHAW Zurich University of Applied Sciences and completed vocational training in mechanical engineering at Berufsbildungsbildungsschule Winterthur.
