Lothar Driller

Lothar Driller has extensive experience in the agri-food and biotechnology sectors, currently serving as the Program Manager for the Feed Application Center and Trainings at Bühler Group since March 2019, while also managing the Swiss Institute of Feed Technology as its Managing Director. Prior to this, Lothar held the position of Business Development Manager at Know Hub Chile, where the focus was on technology transfer in agribusiness. Lothar also served as the Business Unit Head for Agri-Foods and Ingredients at Fraunhofer Chile Research, managing contract research projects and new product developments in the healthy food sector. Early career roles included Senior Process Development Engineer and Research Scientist at Roche, as well as Toolmaker at BENTELER Group. Lothar holds multiple degrees, including a Feed Production Engineer from the Swiss Institute of Feed Technology, an MBA in Engineering from Hochschule München, and a Graduate Engineer in Biotechnology from Technische Hochschule Mittelhessen.
