Prashanth DS is an experienced supply chain management professional with a robust career spanning over two decades in various leadership roles. Currently, Prashanth serves as the Head of Supply Chain Management for the South Asia region at Bühler Group since August 2017. Previously, roles include Practice Lead in Sourcing & Procurement at Infosys BPO, and multiple positions at Meritor, where significant contributions were made in purchasing and global commodity management. Notable achievements include leading the India Purchasing team to increase exports significantly and developing sourcing strategies to enhance company profitability. Prashanth also held positions at Toyota Kirloskar Motor and Wipro Infrastructure Engineering Ltd, focusing on sourcing and production planning. Educational qualifications include a PGDBA in Operations from Symbiosis Institute of Management Studies and BE degrees in Mechanical Engineering from Bangalore University and PES Institute of Technology.
