Rainer Schulz

Rainer Schulz is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in leadership roles across various industries. Currently serving as a member of the Board of Directors and Strategy Committee at HOERBIGER since July 2022, and as President of the Board at RUAG Space since January 2020, Schulz also contributes to Röchling Engineering Plastics SE & Co KG as a member of the Group Advisory Board and the Röchling Automotive Advisory Board, and held the position of interim CEO. Additional roles include a member of the Board and Chairman of the Audit Committee at Bühler Group since June 2019, and previously, a member of the Board at Eisenmann SE until October 2023. Schulz's earlier career includes significant positions such as Chief Executive Officer of REHAU from 2001 to 2018, Head of Procurement at Rolls-Royce from 1995 to 2001, and Teamleader Production Logistics at Scheidt & Bachmann from 1988 to 1994. Schulz holds a Diplom-Ingenieur degree in Production Technology from Hochschule Niederrhein, completed between 1985 and 1988, and has also studied at RWTH Aachen University.
