Silvan Trunz

Silvan Trunz has extensive experience in the milling and automation sectors, currently serving as the Head of Sustainability in Milling Solutions at Bühler Group since April 2008. Trunz has held various roles within the company, including Business Development Manager and Senior Sales Advisor for Automation and Digital Solutions, where expertise is provided to sales managers and global customers in automation and digitalization for both new and existing projects. Previous positions include Head of Sales and Quotation Automation and Project Manager for large milling automation projects across Europe and the Arabian countries. Trunz began a career at Bühler Group in 1995, initially as a Technical Apprentice, later transitioning to roles such as Commissioning and PLC Engineer. Educational background includes a Master of Advanced Studies in Business Administration and Engineering from FHS St.Gallen and a degree in Systems Engineering from NTB Interstaatliche Hochschule für Technik.
