Jacques du Toit

Jacques du Toit has extensive work experience in the field of cyber security and information technology. Jacques has held various roles in different companies since 2001. Some of their notable positions include Business and Solutions Development Director at BUI starting in 2023, Cyber Security Strategy and Transformation Director at JUMPSEC from 2020 to 2023, and Principal Information and Cyber Security Consultant at Cognita Projects from 2017 to 2019. Jacques has also worked as a self-employed Cyber Security Consultant and Advisor, providing consultation and advising clients on cyber security risks and solutions. Jacques has experience in developing security strategies, implementing frameworks, conducting audits, and improving security maturity for various clients. Jacques was also involved in product development and managed services as the Head of Product Development at CloudPoint Network and as the Head of Operations at Davanti. In addition, Jacques has expertise in technology security, compliance, and migrating security operations.

Jacques du Toit pursued a Bachelor's degree in Informatics and Financial Management from the University of South Africa/Universiteit van Suid-Afrika, completing it between 2002 and 2005. In addition to their degree, they have obtained various certifications throughout their career, including qualifications in SD-WAN, AWS Cloud Services, cybersecurity, project management, and IT infrastructure management. Some notable certifications include being a Certified Information Security Systems Professional (CISSP) and a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE).
