Nepal is one of the most disaster-prone countries in the world. Many families dream of living in a safe, brick house but cannot afford it. Most homes are still built using coal-fired bricks - an industry that emits huge emissions, pollution and is linked to exploitation. 

🏡 Our locally-led model supports micro-enterprises to produce climate-friendly bricks and build affordable, disaster-resilient homes.

We have supported more than 200 micro-enterprises to build over 12,000 homes and create 1,900 jobs, while cutting 122,000 tonnes of CO2 emissions by replacing fired bricks.

📈 By 2030, we want to scale across Nepal and in other disaster-prone countries, to make our dream of universal access to safe housing, and a world free of fired bricks, a reality. 💚
