Ryan Oliver is the current Regional Executive Director for BUILD in the Bay Area and LA. Prior to this, they served as the Founding Program Director for BUILD's Boston site and as an education leader. Before their time at BUILD, Ryan was the Entrepreneurship Education Manager and Advisory Board Member for The Incubator School, a 6-9 pilot school within the Los Angeles Unified School District. Ryan also worked as a School Evaluation Consultant for SchoolWorks and held previous positions as a Master Teacher and Leadership Team Member at City Charter High School, a Humanities Teacher and Volleyball Coach at Mount Madonna School, and a Humanities Teacher at The Boston Evening Academy.
Ryan Oliver has a degree from Harvard University in Social Studies, a Teacher Certification from Harvard Graduate School of Education in Teaching and Curriculum, a Master of Arts in Education from California State University, Monterey Bay in Experiential Learning, and a Principal Certification from University of Pittsburgh in Educational Leadership and Administration, General. Ryan also has certification from The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania in High School Social Studies and K-12 Principal Certifications and from the State of California in Administrative Credential and Single Subject Credential in Social Science.
