Chip Kappen, CSI has over 20 years of experience in the commercial construction space. Chip began their career in 1997 as a Regional Accounts Manager for Formica Corporation, where they helped set up a network of regional distributors across 6 states including Eastern Canada. In 2000, they took a role as Regional Sales Manager for iSqFt - Construction Software Technologies, where they were responsible for launching a new product to market and managing a strategic relationship with the AGC of America in Nashville, TN. From 2002 to 2006, they worked as a New Business Development Manager for Dodge Data & Analytics, a technology-driven construction project data, analytics and insights provider. In 2006, they moved to EBSCO Information Services as an Account Executive, relocating to Atlanta to start up and launch a new product targeting the corporate market. From 2008 to 2017, they worked for CMD Group LLC as Director, Enterprise Solutions, working with C-Level and Vice President Sales and Marketing Executives at Building Product Manufacturers. From 2017 to 2019, they were a National Sales Manager and Manager National Accounts at BSD - Building Systems Design, Inc. Chip is currently working as Sales Director-Enterprise Accounts at BuildCentral, Inc., providing critical intelligence in the commercial construction space to help companies win more and better projects.

Chip Kappen has obtained a Private Pilot certificate from Sporty's Flight Academy and Eastern Cincinnati Aviation. Chip has also completed Jack Carews Professional Selling Courses and the Science of Selling. Chip has a background in Business Administration, having attended West Virginia State University.
