David Baker

David Baker is an experienced contracts manager currently at Buildcorp since September 2019. Previously, David served as a project quantity surveyor at Galliford Try, where responsibilities included overseeing the refurbishment of a 12,000m² listed building at Bourlon Barracks. Prior to that, David held a similar role at KIER NORTH EAST LIMITED, managing the refurbishment of listed and conservation buildings during the St Anthony’s Phase 2 project. David's career began at Carillion as an assistant quantity surveyor, contributing to the contract for Consett Academy. David holds a degree in Construction Commercial Management and a Higher National Diploma in Building Studies from Leeds Beckett University and St Michaels College, Leeds, respectively.
