Sami Jaber

Sami Jaber has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering. In 2013, they co-founded HackMcGill and played a vital role in raising funds for the university hackathon. From 2013 to 2015, they served as a Co-Founder at HackMcGill. In 2014, Sami worked as a Software Developer Intern at Genetec and Amazon. Sami also participated in the Google Summer of Code program as a Software Developer Intern in 2013. From 2014 to 2016, they worked as a Data Developer at Breather. Later, Sami joined Unsplash in 2017 and worked as a Frontend Developer, contributing to the development of unsplash.com using various technologies. During their tenure at Unsplash, they were promoted to the role of Web Team Lead, which they held until 2021. In 2021, Sami joined Lazer Technologies as a Senior Software Engineer. Now, they are currently working at Builder.io as a Software Engineer.

Sami Jaber obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science and Mathematics from McGill University, where they studied from 2011 to 2015.
