Michelle Rueda

Partnerships Associate

Michelle Rueda has a diverse professional background with experience in various roles related to program coordination and public affairs. Rueda began as an Outreach Coordinator for the Survivors of Trafficking Empowerment Program at Refugee Services of Texas from December 2016 to August 2017. Following this, Rueda served as a Program Specialist at the Office of Texas Governor Greg Abbott from November 2019 to January 2021, then continued in a similar role at the Texas Workforce Commission from January 2021 until June 2024. Rueda also gained research experience as a Research Assistant at the William J. Perry Center for Hemispheric Defense Studies in the summer of 2018. Currently, Rueda is employed as a Partnerships Associate at Builders since June 2024. Rueda holds a Bachelor's degree in International Relations and Affairs and a Master's degree in Public Affairs, both from The University of Texas at Austin.
