Abel Nyanga

Abel Nyanga, ACCA, MBA, is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in various accounting and financial roles. Currently serving as a Senior Accountant at Builders FirstSource since May 2022, Abel previously held positions such as Commercial Millwork at National Lumber from April 2017 to August 2022, and Head of Strategy at Ecobank Uganda Ltd from October 2015 to January 2017, where responsibilities included guiding strategic goals and reporting to the Board of Directors. Prior to that, Abel served as Deputy Chief Financial Officer at Ecobank (U) from December 2011 to September 2015, managing a team focused on financial reporting and management accounting. The career began at Orient Bank Uganda as an Accounts Officer, specializing in procurement and transaction management. Abel holds a Bachelor of Science in Quantitative Economics from Makerere University and is a member of the ACCA, specializing in Accounting and Finance.
