Brian Wendland

Brian Wendland has extensive experience in purchasing and inventory management, spanning over three decades in the building materials industry. Currently at Builders FirstSource since September 2002, Brian oversees a $5 million inventory, ensuring material cost accuracy and maintaining cycle count records. Previous roles include purchasing at McCray Lumber & Millwork, managing a $3.5 million inventory, and operations management at Kansas City Millwork, where production planning and material staging were key responsibilities. Brian also held significant positions at Morgan Distribution, including Materials Manager, where inventory management across multiple locations was a primary focus, achieving a reduction in inventory costs. Early career experience includes roles in purchasing and customer service at Kansas City Millwork and The Radford Company. Brian completed education at Arapahoe Public High School.
