Derek Staker

Derek Staker possesses extensive experience in management roles across several companies. Currently serving as General Manager at Builders FirstSource since June 2018, Staker previously held the position of Assistant General Manager at ProBuild while simultaneously advancing through various operational roles within the same company, including Operations Manager and Yard Operations Manager. Staker played a pivotal role as one of the first Managers in Training (MITs) for ProBuild, contributing to the in-house training program's initial success. Earlier professional experiences include serving as a Driver Manager at CR England, where asset utilization and driver oversight were key responsibilities, and as a Crew Leader at AR Aluminum, focusing on crew management and employee relations. Staker holds a degree in Business Administration from Weber State University, complemented by a background in Spanish.
