Don Hess

Don Hess has extensive experience in the building materials industry, with a career spanning over three decades. Currently serving as Assistant General Manager at Builders FirstSource since September 2014, Don has held various roles including Operations Manager and Outside Sales Representative. Prior to this, experience includes positions at 84 Lumber and Carter Lumber, focused on outside sales, as well as Roper Brothers Lumber Company, where sales and estimating were key responsibilities. Don also served as Plant Manager and Outside Sales Representative at Va. Trusses Inc., overseeing day-to-day operations before transitioning into sales. Early career experience includes a role as Builder and Production Supervisor at Truswood Inc. Education was completed at Menchville High from 1987 to 1990.
