Gary Merrill is an experienced sales professional with a focus on the building materials and construction services industry. Currently serving as an Outside Sales Representative for Builders FirstSource since January 2021, Gary has also held a similar role at BMC since January 2001. Gary's expertise includes addressing the needs of various home builders in the Utah market, ranging from large national builders to individual custom home builders. Previous roles include Operations Manager, where Gary oversaw a team and maintained a shipping fleet, and Production Manager, as well as experience in inside sales and production specialization in door manufacturing. In addition, Gary served as Regional Sales Manager for Beijer Electronics, Inc. from April to October 2014. Gary holds a degree in Political Science from the University of Utah and has further education from Salt Lake Community College.
