John Unger is a Learning and Development leader and strategist with over 13 years of experience in designing and developing impactful learning solutions across various sectors, including aviation and SaaS. Currently serving as the Director of Learning Programs at Builders FirstSource, John has previously held key roles at Southwest Airlines and Tableau Software, where they drove measurable performance improvements and enhanced team capabilities. John’s approach combines data analysis, stakeholder insights, and human-centered design to create effective learning programs that align with organizational goals. They have a background in education, having taught technology skills to adult learners and middle school students. John is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Master of Education in Instructional Technology at Texas Tech University.
