Veronica Adams

Veronica Adams, CIA, currently serves as an Internal Auditor at Builders FirstSource since April 2024. Prior to this role, Veronica worked at RSM US LLP as a Risk Advisory Consultant from July 2022 to December 2023, focusing on process risk and controls testing across various financial activities and communicating findings to executive management. Previous experience includes a Graduate Teaching Assistant position at The University of Texas at Dallas, where Veronica facilitated graduate-level courses in internal auditing and advanced auditing. Additional roles at RSM US LLP, Gleim Exam Prep, ORIX Corporation USA, and other organizations have contributed to a solid foundation in auditing, risk consulting, and accounting. Veronica holds an MBA and a Master of Science in Accounting, Internal Audit and Risk Assurance, from The University of Texas at Dallas, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in International and Area Studies from the University of Oklahoma.
