Wes Skidmore is a seasoned structural designer with extensive experience in the building materials and construction industry. Currently serving as a Senior Structural Designer at Builders FirstSource since September 2019, Wes previously operated Charlotte Bat Company from 2004 to 2010 and held engineering and design positions at John Wieland Homes and Trus Joist MacMillan. Wes has also contributed as a Sales Engineer/Designer/Technical Support at Matthews Building Supply Co and as an Engineered Wood Specialist at BMC. Early career experience includes an engineering role at Morgantown Utility Board. Wes holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Fairmont State University, earned between 1984 and 1988.
