Melissa Williard

Melissa Williard has extensive experience in the insurance industry, with a career spanning from 1994 to the present. Currently serving as Assistant Vice President and Underwriting at Builders Mutual Insurance Company since November 2003, Melissa has held various roles including Senior Underwriting Director and Underwriting Manager. Prior positions at Lancer Management Company from 1999 to 2003 included Commercial Lines Underwriter and Assistant Underwriter. Melissa began their career at NC Farm Bureau, where roles included Personal Lines Underwriter and Workers' Compensation Claims Examiner. Melissa holds a Master of Public Administration from Troy University and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Appalachian State University.
