Eric Varnell

Business Development Engineer at Building Cyber Security

Eric Varnell is an independent technology strategist for CRE since 2019. From 2007 to 2010, they were the guitarist and main songwriter for From Sword to Sunrise, touring nationally with acts such as Five Finger Death Punch, Static X, Mudvayne, All That Remains and Trivium, and having a top 40 song "One" on the national hard rock charts. From 2010 to 2013, they were an independent songwriter and producer working with Michael Peterson, Joey Scott Poster, Billy Decker and Billy Dawson, developing a long-standing relationship with Billy Decker. From 2013 to 2014, they were a songwriter for BMG - The New Music Company. From 2017 to 2018, they were a songwriter and producer for Shoebox Music Publishing, working with artists such as Matt Stell, Ingred Andress and Troy Cartwright. From 2018 to 2019, they were the founder of Spooky Sounds, opening a recording studio and continuing writing and producing with bands like GFM, Montgomery Gentry, Colt Ford, and composing music for TV shows such as Pawn Stars, American Pickers, Wicked Tuna and for the NFL. Since 2020, they have been working for 5G LLC as a Sales Engineer and Director of Business Development, and for Building Cyber Security as a Business Development Engineer.

Eric Varnell attended Central Valley High School.
