Building Resilience Australia uses a hazard mapping and resilience framework for the building sector, enabling real time access to location-specific hazard information, facilitated by industry specialists. The resilience score report provides standardised resilience measures to help identify, mitigate risks, and reduce the impacts of severe weather events, by identifying and communicating building risks to relevant parties. The resilience score inspection report provides risk insight about applicable natural hazards and vulnerabilities based on the location and construction of a building and strategies to enhance physical integrity and operational continuity in response.
