Mark Sterin

Mark Sterin is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in software engineering and architecture. Currently serving as Principal Software Engineer at Atrius since August 2022, Mark previously held positions as Consulting Information Technology Architect at Caelus LLC and Senior Software Engineer at Diem Association, where responsibilities included managing and deploying the Diem Blockchain in a multi-cloud environment. Prior roles include Director of Engineering at Kontain, where Mark built a team and delivered a micro-vm based container runtime, Staff Engineer II at VMware, and Principal PM at Microsoft, contributing to various projects including Exchange and System Center Service Manager. Mark's career began at BMC Software, leading the development of the Patrol Application Management suite. Mark holds an MS degree in Applied Math and Computer Science from Gubkin Russian State University of Oil and Gas.
