Buildings Alive helps owners and operators of large complex buildings to cut carbon emissions and cut costs.

Institutional clients use our sophisticated technology platform and active support to drive least cost and state-of-the-art decarbonization programs. Increasingly, our technology is being used by clients targeting 24/7 Carbon Free Energy (CFE) operations. For clients who have achieved, or are edging towards, 'net zero', we help them answer the question: 'what's next?'

Our technology blends the latest data science, building science and behavior science to give owners, operators, engineers and technicians a clear understanding of how their buildings are performing. This timely and unambiguous information helps to optimize maintenance expenditure, minimize operating costs, reduce environmental impacts and enhance occupant comfort and wellbeing in the most cost- and time-effective manner without resorting to conventional capital-intensive solutions.

Our platform includes: daily ‘normalized’ performance feedback for electricity, water and gas efficiency; real-time carbon and cost analytics; automated sub-meter analytics; dynamic bench-marking; demand forecasting; equipment fault detection; target setting; diagnostics and optimization analysis; peer-to-peer knowledge-sharing and technical guidance; and independent measurement and verification (M&V) of results.
