🪁 Mitch Smith

Mitch Smith is a Software Engineer currently working at Buildkite since December 2022, focusing on core CI/CD pipelines to support thousands of developers. Prior to this role, Mitch was a Senior Software Engineer at Tanda from March 2019 to December 2022, where responsibilities included developing a mentoring system and leading a migration to Aurora databases and Kubernetes. Earlier experience includes roles at mitchbne, where Mitch developed client websites and contributed to the xBacked DAO project, and at Airbus, where the development of a prototype web application for helicopter pilots and drone operators was led. Additional experience includes prototyping a smart city appliance interface at Sylo Pty Ltd and automating updates for on-premise servers during an internship. Mitch holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology (Software Design) from The University of Queensland.
