Greg Lind has a long and varied work experience. Greg began their career in 1999 as a Software Developer for Contract, where they provided web-based software development and IT project management for clients such as the State of Oregon, Nike, and Metro. In 2004, they joined Hewlett Packard Enterprise as a Software Engineer. In 2005, they became a Systems Analyst and Software Developer at Metro, where they led software development teams and worked on projects such as grant tracking, transportation tracking, recycling information systems, web mapping systems, and Internal/External content management. In 2011, they joined Mercy Corps as a Software Developer/Business System Analyst. In 2017, they became the CTO of Humanitec. In 2020, they became the Director of Software Engineering at Transparent Path. Finally, in 2019, they became the CEO and Co-Founder of buildlyio, a Software architecture as a service. Greg is also the Founder and Volunteer of OpenBuild, a Non Profit Open Source advocacy and STEM organization based in Nairobi, Kenya and Saigon, Vietnam.
Greg Lind obtained a Bachelor of Science degree from Portland State University in 1997, majoring in Science. Greg also attended Stanford University to study Computer Programming.
