Robert Green is a global advisory board member at buildOn. Robert previously worked as a systems programmer at Dauphin Data Corporation from August 1990 to August 1996. In this role, they were responsible for software installation and patches, coding exists, and designing and implementing the mainframe disaster recovery plan. Robert also worked closely with the distributed systems and networking teams to introduce a distributed Db2 environment using the Db2 Distributed Data Facility to allow application programmers to work with MicroFocus COBOL on their desktop PCs and access data residing on the mainframe. This role also allowed him to build on their finance degree knowledge by obtaining the Fellow, Life Management Institute, and then the Master Fellow designations from the Life Office Management Association, an international trade association for the insurance and financial services industry.
Robert Green holds a MS in Information Science from the University of South Alabama, as well as a BS in Finance from the same school. Robert is certified by IBM in their AI Skills Academy Deep Learning Explorer program, and also holds Coursera Course Certificates in Mathematics for Machine Learning Specialization and Practical Machine Learning. In addition, they are a Master Fellow and Fellow of the Life Management Institute (FLMI) through LOMA, and holds IBM Technical Specialist Profession Certifications at Level 2.
