Nelson S.

Nelson S. is a data professional with extensive experience in data science and engineering. Currently employed at Buk since March 2022, Nelson holds roles as a Data Scientist and Semi-Senior Data Engineer, focusing on ETL processes, reporting, data delivery, and internal tool development, while leading initial data science initiatives. Prior to this, Nelson worked as a data engineering intern, contributing to the construction of Buk's lakehouse. In addition, Nelson has been serving as an editor and photographer for Pisapapeles, one of Chile's most visited technology websites, since 2015. Other experiences include serving as Secretary in the Student Affairs Department at the Federation of Students of Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez and an operational internship at AGFA HealthCare, where support was provided to field engineers and data cleaning tasks were performed for internal projects. Nelson holds a Master of Science in Data Science and a degree in Industrial Engineering with a minor in IT from Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez.
