Smith also co-founded and leads Pivotal Retention as CEO, focusing on reducing driver turnover and enhancing team development for fleets. As the President of Pivotal Fleet Solutions, Inc. since July 2020, Smith brings extensive experience from previous leadership roles, including Senior Vice President of Safety and Vice President of Safety at Hub Group, and VP of Corporate Services at TCW / Tennessee Express. Smith's expertise encompasses truck driver turnover, fleet safety, driver recruiting, driver onboarding, and process improvement. Smith holds a degree from Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU).
