Tom Bayer

Tom Bayer is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in media analysis and political science. Currently a Senior Editor at Bulletin News LLC since February 2001, Tom Bayer specializes in the analysis of media coverage related to various events, agencies, and industries. Previously, Tom held positions such as Associate Managing Editor, overseeing health and medical news as well as engineering and education groups, and served as Editor for influential daily briefings for government entities including the US Department of Education and the White House. Prior to Bulletin News, Tom worked as a Researcher for the National Republican Senatorial Committee, where news coverage of opposition senatorial candidates was analyzed. Additionally, Tom served as an Assistant Professor of Political Science at the University of Saint Mary for four years, teaching American Politics, Political Philosophy, and International Relations, while also engaging in academic committees and student advisement. Tom holds a Ph.D. in American Politics from the University of Notre Dame and a B.A. in International Relations and National Security Studies from Michigan State University.
