Danny Franklin

Danny Franklin is a partner at Bully Pulpit Interactive (BPI), where he helps bridge the gap between traditional research and next-generation analytics and technology to strategies for clients facing the toughest challenges.

Danny developed evidence-based strategies for clients throughout the technology, media, healthcare, and financial sectors. At BPI, he has led messaging and media strategy work for McDonald's, JPMorgan Chase, Blackstone, General Mills, NBC News, the NFL, Bank of America, ACLU, the Walton Family Foundation, and the Pew Charitable Trusts. As a pollster, he has conducted research and developed messaging strategies for President Obama and President Biden, as well as governors, senators, and congressional campaigns.

A former speechwriter and journalist, Danny has contributed to Time, the Washington Post, USA Today, Slate, Mother Jones and The American Prospect, and was an editor at the Washington Monthly. He sits on the board of the Fortune Society, a New York-based organization working to support successful reentry from incarceration and promote alternatives to incarceration.
