Karin de Groot has extensive experience in the television and media sectors, having held key leadership roles in several prominent organizations. From November 2016 to March 2019, Karin served as the Director of Television at Talpa Network, where responsibilities included programming and marketing for multiple channels. As Chief Executive Officer of idtv from July 2011 to December 2016, strategic plans were developed that transformed the company into a profitable entity. Additional roles include Channel Director at SBS, where a strong brand was established for Net 5, and work as a management consultant for Ziggo Sport. Karin also contributed to cultural heritage as a member of the Supervisory Board for the Nederlands Instituut voor Beeld en Geluid and has continued to take on leadership roles such as CEO at ITV Studios Netherlands and currently at BumaStemra. With a strong entrepreneurial spirit, Karin founded Pimp en Co and has participated as a guest lecturer at Fontys Hogeschool.
