Jack Hansom

Jack Hansom is a Senior Machine Learning Engineer at Bumble since December 2022, with prior experience as a Senior Machine Learning Engineer at Callsign from November 2020 to November 2022. Jack also served as Principal Data Scientist and Data Scientist at Verv from October 2017 to November 2020, and as a Data Scientist at SCL Elections from September 2015 to October 2017. Earlier, Jack held a position as a Data Science Fellow at The ASI for a short duration in July and August 2015. Academic achievements include a Ph.D. in Experimental Quantum Information from the University of Cambridge (2011-2015), along with an MSci in Physics from UCL (2007-2011). Additionally, teaching experience includes a tenure as a Student Tutor at St John's College, Cambridge, during the 2012-2013 academic year and a summer internship at DESY in 2010.
