Stephen Williamson has a diverse work experience spanning over three decades. Stephen began their career as a Trainee Marine Engineer Officer at Cunard Shipping Services in 1984. Stephen then moved on to Geest Line Limited, where they served as a Marine Engineer Officer on various types of vessels. During this time, they also worked as a Senior Technical Instructor at the UK National Sea Training College. In 1994, they joined Teekay as a Marine Engineer Officer.
Williamson later transitioned to BP Shipping, where they held multiple roles, including Technical Support Superintendent and Regional Fleet Manager. Stephen was responsible for overseeing gas fleet operations and ensuring compliance with engineering standards.
In 2018, Williamson joined Bumi Armada and took on various leadership roles. Stephen served as the Senior Vice President of Technology, Engineering, and Projects, where they led the technical team responsible for delivering technical solutions and managing projects related to floating production storage and offloading vessels. Stephen later became the Head of Asset Integrity and Engineering, overseeing the maintenance and safe operation of FPO assets.
Throughout their career, Williamson has demonstrated expertise in technical design, asset integrity, and operational efficiency.
Stephen Williamson attended The Trinity House School from 1981 to 1984. Stephen then went on to study at Warsash, Southampton IHE from 1984 to 1998. No degree or field of study information is available.
