BunaByte is an Ethiopian-based cybersecurity education and security services company committed to strengthening digital resilience for individuals, organizations, and institutions across Africa.

We operate at the intersection of hands-on cybersecurity training and real-world security operations, ensuring that both learners and clients benefit from practical, industry-relevant expertise.

On the education side, we deliver lab-driven training programs, bootcamps, and certification-aligned courses designed to build job-ready skills in ethical hacking, penetration testing, and cyber defense. Our learning model emphasizes real-world scenarios through vulnerable environments, Capture The Flag (CTF) challenges, and attack-and-defense simulations—bridging the gap between theory and practice.

On the services side, we provide professional cybersecurity solutions including penetration testing, vulnerability assessments, security audits, and secure software reviews. Our engagements are executed by practitioners with offensive security expertise and are continuously informed by real attack patterns and research.

A key part of our ecosystem is our 24/7 CTF platform, enabling continuous, hands-on skill development for aspiring and professional cybersecurity practitioners. This platform supports consistent practice, competitive learning, and community-driven growth.

By integrating training with live security operations, Buna Byte creates a feedback loop where real-world threats inform education, and trained talent strengthens security outcomes.
