Gert Prins is currently the environmental and safety manager at Bunge Loders Croklaan Europe, a global producer of oils, fats, and nutritional ingredients based in the Netherlands. Gert studied chemical engineering and environmental sciences, earning degrees from Christelijke Hogeschool Nederland, Zuyd University of Applied Sciences, and Open Universiteit. Since joining Bunge in 1988, Gert has implemented ISO 14001 environmental management certification and focuses on environmental impact analyses and safety management within the vegetable oils supply chain. Previously, Gert worked at Philips in the Laboratory for Process & Environment from 1983 to 1989.
