Gil W.

Gil W. is an R&D Director at Bunge, where they have led core technology and cost optimization initiatives since 2021, building on their previous role in technical service for food processors and CPG accounts. With a background as a Senior Development Chemist at Cargill, they developed innovative frying solutions for QSR customers, and as a Manager of Research & Development at Bunge Loders Croklaan, they focused on specialty fats and oils. They also have experience as a Chemical Engineer at Unilever, where they researched and optimized home and personal care products. Currently, Gil is pursuing a Ph.D. in Food Sciences and Technology at Iowa State University while serving as the Chair of the AOCS Processing Division.
