Michael Bruins

Michael Bruins is a seasoned professional with extensive expertise in customs, trade, and indirect tax management. Currently serving as the Sr. Manager Indirect Tax EMEA and Head of Indirect Tax at Bunge since December 2003, Michael has demonstrated strong leadership abilities while managing complex customs procedures, trade flows, and excise tax. Previous roles include Manager Customs & Tax and Manager Customs, Trade & Indirect Tax at Bunge and various positions at Tate & Lyle from January 2001 to December 2003. Michael holds multiple educational qualifications, including studies at HBO University, Evolution Logique, and Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences.
