Jon MacConnell

Jon MacConnell is the Founder and CEO of Buoyancy Works, established in June 2020, which focuses on personalized and inclusive career transition support. Additionally, Jon serves as a Sessional Instructor at Bow Valley College, teaching Business Strategy and Entrepreneurship. As a Founding Partner and Director at ABehave, Jon applies global behavioral insights locally since February 2020. Previous experience includes managerial and consulting roles in strategic planning and operations analysis at various energy companies, such as Pipestone Energy Corp. and Pengrowth Corporation. Jon's educational background encompasses an Executive MSc in Behavioral Science from The London School of Economics and a Bachelor of Engineering from Dalhousie University.
