Antonio Cantó joined Bupa Hong Kong as Managing Director in January 2026, bringing more than 30 years of experience to lead the integration of healthcare services and health insurance businesses.
Prior to this role, Antonio served as General Manager for Bupa Chile. He moved to Chile in 2021 after nearly 12 years with Sanitas Seguros. During his tenure, he championed the development of innovative Private Medical Insurance (PMI) products and drove substantial progress in expanding Connected Care across Chile.
Guided by Antonio’s belief that “health is a key element that can change paradigms in people’s lives through technology, innovation and health management, for both prevention and treatment”, he brings this vision to life through his leadership and approach.
Antonio holds a degree in Law from the Complutense University of Madrid and an MBA from IE Business School.
