David Rowbotham

David Rowbotham is an experienced health and safety professional currently serving as the Global Head of Health & Safety at Bupa since April 2016. Prior to this role, David worked at Mace from January 2001 to March 2016, where responsibilities included establishing and leading a successful health and safety consultancy and serving as Operations Director with oversight of corporate health and safety across significant construction projects. Early career experience includes serving as a Safety, Health & Environmental Advisor at Carillion and as a Health & Safety Inspector for Wolverhampton City Council. David holds a Master of Science in Patient Safety from Imperial College London, an LLM in Health and Safety Law and Environmental Law from The University of Salford, a Postgraduate Certificate in Information Technology from the University of St Andrews, and an LLB in Law from the University of Wolverhampton.
